Goodbye 2nd year of college at UCSB, hello Summer 2011! What better way to kick off the summer than with a therapeutic week back home in Los Angeles to see family & friends, relax by the pool, gorge myself with oriental delicacies (which are few and far between in Santa Barbara), and squeeze in some long overdue quality time with my paints, palette, and paint brushes! My lastest project was one created with heartening intensions for my dear friend Michael, who was recently diagnosed with leukemia. Michael being a fervent fan of the almighty Sublime and an avid bicycle enthusiast, I decided to paint a sort of synthesis of his loves on a piece of wood I had laying around. This is just a little message from all of us that are thinking about you Michael... remember that, lovin' is what we got... for you kid!
